Meet Our Family Of Yoga Teachers

  • Jude Levy

    Jude is the founder and inspiration behind the Kabbala brand.

    She is a 4th generation shop keeper, an astrologer and has over 30 years of international business experience, working more recently as a Business Coach and Mentor to local entrepreneurs.

    Seeking to integrate her commercial and spiritual instincts and following 20 years of practising yoga and pranayama to help soothe her mind and heal her body, she decided to retrain as a yoga teacher.

    She qualified with Laura Gilmore at Bristol City Yoga in 2020 and now focuses on creating Clevedon's only dedicated yoga space whilst also teaching breath and movement to people who are beginners, over 50 or facing health and mobility challenges.

    She is a Mother and Grandmother and is married to Howard. They share a love of yoga, astrology, tantra, lifelong learning and travel.

  • Howard Parker

    Howard came across Ashtanga yoga about 20 years ago and says, “it blew my mind, which was exactly what I was looking for! I like how it is a structured sequence with a clear beginning, middle and finish that you can adapt and play with according to how the energy flows. It can be followed in a very intense or very relaxed way and there is always room for interesting deviations and meanders along the way!”

    Howard loves to travel, with Jude, with some of their favorites being 'Yoga Rocks' in Crete and 'Jungle Yoga' in Thailand.

    Howard’s Early Monday morning class at Kabbala, follows the same sequence but it is a reflective exploration of the sequence that can be followed by beginners and more experienced folk alike. It gets the energy moving and sets you up for the week ahead.

  • Pepper

    We could learn a lot from Dogs

    Pepper is our ultimate teachers here at Kabbala.

    Dogs only live in the present, they don’t waste energy on whats been before, or fret about what’s to come they simply exist in now, and usually they find a way to make their tails wag.

    Sure they will learn lessons from past mistakes, and may wish for that food to slide from the table into to their bowls but for the most part they are content with some movement, some company, fresh air and clean water, enough food, but not too much, some alone time and lots of sleep.

    When you meet our Guru Pepper be prepared for belly rubs (hers obviously!)

  • Rosie

    A creative at heart & with that comes a busy schedule and mind. When not on her mat, or guiding you on yours, you will find Rosie by water, on Cornish beaches, bbqs on a full moon, coastal dog hikes & practicing what she preaches, disconnecting!

  • Lisa

    Description goes hereLisa is an avid nature lover who can often be found walking, paddle boarding or cycling to immerse herself in nature. She also enjoys an occasional forage and she has a particular passion for fungi!

  • Judith

    My yoga teacher said, “you don’t find yoga, yoga finds you”

    Judith started practicing yoga about 14 years ago. Initially it was just to help her stretch after running, little did she know then the full effects that yoga would have on her physically, mentally and spiritually. She’d always been active but needed something that would channel her energy.

    Judiths approach is to use yoga as a tool to develop strength, inner calmness and self awareness.

    Her style of yoga teaching has changed over the years and she enjoys practicing and teaching a slow flow Vinyasa class, connecting the breath with graceful forms of movement which gives us space to really feel into the body.

    Jenny discovered yoga when first travelling in India but didn't find her practice until several years later. She was inspired to study ashtanga teacher training when living in Spain and then decided to return to India for more training. She is constantly learning and forever a student of yoga.

    Now qualified in ashtanga, vinyasa, yin and pre and post natal yoga.

    Tracy

    After retiring early five years ago, Tracy retrained as a fitness coach and pilates instructor. She also teaches suspension, and is a Leader in Running Fitness but particularly loves pilates as it can be practiced anywhere and has a significant and noticeable difference in body shape and strength. Tracy have lived in Clevedon for almost 10 years, and when she is not at the Kabbala Studio she can often be found swimming in the marine lake.
