Joan Hudson
Joan has been a resident of Clevedon for over 30 years and has been painting drawing and creating art all her life.
While raising her family, she studied for her degree gaining a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design at Bower Ashton which is now part of UWE.
Joan has sold her work locally, nationally and abroad using a wide range of media and depicting many varied subjects. She has been connected with Clevedon Art Club for 25 years and has won the Jean Kent Prize twice along with numerous selector’s choice awards at the club’s annual exhibition. Joan was one of the original resident artists at Studio Clevedon Craft Center, where these days she is proud to be invited to exhibit as a guest artist.
Currently, Joan Concentrates on the local landscape and is developing her style towards more abstraction and the use of mixed media.
