June Bensted

June is a local artist from Backwell. She has been an active member of Clevedon Art Club for many years and is also a member of the St Andrews Art Group in Backwell.

June has exhibited and sold several paintings in the Clevedon open exhibition and other local exhibitions. She has also had three solo exhibitions in South West France and another solo exhibition is being arranged in France for July this year.

June mainly works with oils. She loves to paint beautiful landscapes and seascapes capturing the ever-changing weather conditions of not only the South West but of her native Scotland too.

June and her husband like to escape to France as often as they can, where the beautiful French countryside has also been the inspiration for many of her paintings.
